The share register and stock certificates showing the Canadian company's ownership of the US entity, the US entity's formation documents, and evidence that both operate: leases, payroll, invoices and financial statements. A purchase agreement alone shows a plan, not the completed relationship.
Assemble the relationship file before the job file
Start with the ownership chain from the top. If the Centre Wellington company is itself owned by a family holding company, include that layer with percentages so the examiner can follow control from the individuals down to the US plant. For the US entity, gather the certificate of formation, the operating agreement or bylaws, the stock ledger showing the Canadian company as owner, and the closing statement from the acquisition.
Then prove both businesses are active: the Canadian company's recent financial statements and payroll summary, and the US plant's lease, utility accounts, recent invoices to customers and payroll register. If the US plant was dormant when purchased, include production records since restart. Finally, prepare a short signed letter from an officer explaining the chart.
Missing relationship evidence can trigger a request for evidence even when the job description is strong.
