Under the current official terms, a spouse and unmarried children under twenty-one may be included, with a separate processing fee and gift for each. A married child or a child aged twenty-one or older is not included under those family terms. Re-verify eligibility and amounts before paying.
Confirm each person individually
The current Gold Card framework allows a spouse and unmarried children under twenty-one to be included in the initial application. Each included person is currently subject to a separate processing fee and gift and, if successful, receives the privileges of lawful permanent residence. A married child or a child aged twenty-one or older needs an independent basis to live in the United States, whether employment, study, investment or a family petition. The household should confirm every person's age, marital status and required payment against the official page immediately before applying.
Each family member's own history—prior refusals, overstays, criminal records—is assessed, and the connected immigrant category carries its own eligibility conditions and depends on visa availability by country of chargeability. Including the family at the outset is officially recommended for program benefits, whereas a later step is examined under whatever procedure and eligibility rules apply at that time, which nobody can state today.
